BEGINNING KNITTING with Kathy Konecki

If you’ve always wanted to learn to knit this is the perfect class for beginners. In this class, you will learn from a master knitter in 3 lessons and establish a firm foundation for your skills. Included in this beginning knitting class are the basics of knitting, including casting on, the two primary stitches in knitting which are the knit stitch and the purl stitch, binding off, finishing techniques, and how to read a knitting pattern. No experience is necessary.

Kathy Konecki learned how to knit at the age of 10 from her mother. She is an accomplished knitter and currently co-owns her own knitting business, called Necessary Little Luxuries, through which she makes and sells knitted wearables from soft to the touch yarns. www.necessarylittleluxuries.com
