HAND CARDING with Glenna Dean -

May 4, 2019
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

In this workshop students will gain familiarity with hand-carding and EVFAC’s picker to create rolags. A rolag is created by first carding the fiber, using handcards, and then by gently rolling the fiber off the cards.Participants will learn to see potential in a neglected fiber stash and gain confidence to make easy-to-spin textured yarns suitable for attractive sweaters and other knitting projects or prepare loose fibers suitable for needle or welt felting.

Materials student should provide: No materials required. Please note, if you own some hand cards bring them and drop us a line to let us know.
