HOLIDAY FELTED PUMPKINS with Samuel Buelow

12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Students will learn the basics of 3-D needle felting – creating a base, shaping into a form,

while adding and layering colors.  Materials fee includes enough wool for one pumpkin, a felting needle, and a foam pad.  Needles and foam are essential tools that students can reuse for future needle felt projects.

Samuel Buelow is a fiber artist who has worked in many forms (knitting, weaving, etc) but his heart is in sculptural crochet and currently, needle felting.  He has had several pieces displayed at Fuller Lodge Art Center in Los Alamos, NM and at Albuquerque Pride.  He is a cultural anthropologist by training and has worked in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, whose amazing felt traditions continue to inspire him

Material Fee: $15
Material fee is paid at first class meeting.
