Fall Fiber Fiesta

Browse colorful displays, feel the rich textures and find locally handmade gifts for your friends and family.

Fall Fiber Fiesta 2019, one of Santa Fe’s premier fiber arts markets, opens Friday, November 22 at the Scottish Rite Temple (463 Paseo De Peralta, Santa Fe) with a ticketed Artists' Reception. The Fall Fiber Fiesta presented by the Española Fiber Arts Center (EVFAC)  opens with free admission on Saturday and Sunday November 23 and 24. This is the largest show in Santa Fe exclusively dedicated to fiber arts.

Over forty local fiber artists are featured in this once-a-year opportunity to shop for hand woven clothing and accessories as well as gifts, hand knitted, crocheted, hand spun, felted or quilted. New Mexico’s tradition in Fiber Arts is extensive, bridging cultures, techniques and materials.

The weekend kicks off Friday, November 22 with an Artists’ Reception and Silent Auction, from 5pm to 8pm allowing everyone to meet featured artists, preview artwork, and have exclusive shopping opportunities. Admission to the reception is $10. Music by award-winning bilingual singer-songwriter, Lara Manzanares, and light snacks and drinks will be offered.

On Saturday, November 23, and Sunday, November 24, from 9am to 5pm visitors and shoppers can browse the gallery, shop the colorful displays and participate in demonstrations of various fiber arts techniques that will teach and inspire. Hand woven silk and merino shawls, crocheted gifts and toys, hand knitted alpaca accessories, one-of-a-kind felted jackets and hats, are some of the unusual and finely crafted gifts available.

Families and children are welcome and encouraged to participate throughout both days of Fall Fiber Fiesta. There is no admission fee for Fall Fiber Fiesta on November 23 and 24.
