We’ve been sharing photos and camper creations from rigid heddle weaving, spinning and dyeing, macramé, and sewing over on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Campers left each week with at least two fabulous finished projects—and, from what we could tell, plenty of smiles, good memories, and maybe even new friendships, too. Our July Sessions run for two more weeks: July 20–24 and July 27–31. Then, save the date for our Summer Camp Showcase & Open House on Saturday, August 1! From 12-3pm at EVFAC we’ll have demos and hands-on crafts for the whole family, a pizza party sponsored by Dion’s, a frozen dessert treat, and, of course, a Camp Showcase celebrating the wonderful work local youth created at camp this summer. We’re also working to raise a final $4,000 by the end of July to help close out the first part of the year without a deficit, while continuing to support camp costs and general operating needs. We’ll have some very exciting funding news to share later this month, but community donations are still essential to help us finish this first half of the year strong.
