EVFAC’s 14th Annual Fall Fiber Fiesta: Artist Information

Event Dates & Times:
Friday December 4th:  Setup 12-3:30pm, Opening Gala 4-7pm
Saturday-Sunday December 5th & 6th:  10am-4pm
Takedown:  Sunday 4-6pm (mandatory window)

This is a juried EVFAC member artist show. Your membership dues must be paid and up to date in order to have your application juried. You can purchase or re-new your EVFAC membership here.

Application Timeline:
Applications open: Sept 1, 9:00am
Applications close: Sept 15, 5:00pm
Notification of acceptance: Sept 31st 
Booth Payment due: October 7th, 5:00pm

Booth Information:

Location:  Scottish Rite Temple, 463 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Space:  10' x 5' (40 total available). Artists must remain within your booth space for the duration of the show. 

Wall booth (with electricity, 20 spaces available): $250
Center booth (no electricity, 20 spaces available): $220

Applicants will select all booth options they are willing to apply for below. 

One booth per artist or group, sharing a booth is allowed at no extra cost. Shared booth applicants must submit one joint application, see below. 

Artist Requirements:

Current up-to-date EVFAC membership required.
All items sold at this sale must be handmade fiber art, made by you, the EVFAC member artist. 
Artists will manage their own payments at the sale.
No early pack-up or you will be disqualified from future EVFAC shows.
Bring your own table and table cloth if possible, only 30 of each provided onsite, so we appreciate your help bringing a table. This is not mandatory, only a request. Tables, if provided, are plastic folding tables: 2.5’ x 8’. All tables must be covered by a table clothe.

Fall Fiber Fiesta Jury Criteria:

-Quality of fiber art work
-EVFAC member participation (volunteering, classes, events, etc., see below.)

We are looking for members who are reaching out and participating with the center in anyway. Member participation at EVFAC can include, but is not exclusive to: 
-Volunteering at the center, or with the center remotely
-Attending EVFAC events
-Teaching a class at the center, or remotely through Zoom
-Attending board meetings, digitally or in person, or serving on the board
-Being a long standing member of the center
-Taking classes at the center
-Donating your time or goods to the center 
-Attending member meetings
-All patricipation at the center throughout the years is welcome to be listed

Images of Artwork: 

We will be jurying your work based on the images provided in this application. Please provied high-resolution photos, using a neutral background with good lighting. Ensure the images captures the true beauty of your work. Close up images, and images of you, the artist, making the artwork are a wonderful addition to your submission and can help us get a full feel for what you make, and how your fiber art is created. 

In addition to print advertising, we will be featuring artists and their businesses on our social media and in our newsletter leading up to the show. To do this, we need quality photographs of your work. 

Cancellation Policy:
By Oct 30th:  Full refund
Oct 31st-Nov. 15th:  50% refund
After Nov 15th:  No refund

Please scroll to the bottom of this page to find the second artist application area. If you are an individul artist, you will skip this portion of the application. If you are an organization, group, or guild you can choose to showcase all of your artists in the first portion of this application, but we love pictures, so please include a full spectrum of images for your group. 

Sharing a booth is a great way to double the participation of our show! Fall Fiber Fiesta is limited, but we want to include as many artists as possible. We love to see artists sharing booths. Unfortunately, we can not pair up artists. Please find your own booth mate for the show if you would like to share a booth.
