Join artist and educator Andrea Dupree for a three hour hands-on needle felting workshop designed to connect you with your creativity and sense of presence. This workshop will include guided meditations & mindful movement practices. 

Participants in Mindful Needle Felting will learn the fundamental techniques of needle felting while crafting three dimensional objects. These objects can as either a decorative or a functional piece of art, or possibly both! There is a vast array of items that can be made by needle felting, and Andrea is here to show you exactly how to do this! Learn to make ornaments, essential oil diffusers, jewelry, fidget toys and much more!

In this workshop, Andrea will share the history of felting and needle felting with students. Students will receive instruction in techniques including shaping, layering, joining, and adding details to their needle felted projects. 

All wool used in this class is ethically sourced.  All tools and materials are provided for this class. 

Materials provided by instructor: felting needles, finger protectors and pad, wool, class printout.

About Andrea Dupree: Andrea Dupree is an artist and educator based in Northern New Mexico. Her fiber-based artwork explores themes of interconnectedness, ecology, and spiritual reflection, primarily using hand felting, embroidery, and natural materials. With a background in Studio Arts (BFA) and Early Childhood Education (MA), Andrea brings over 20 years of experience teaching art, mindfulness, and movement. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher and certified Children’s Yoga Instructor, and she believes in the power of creative practice to foster connection, curiosity, and inner stillness.

Class COVID-19 policy: There are no COVID-19 restrictions for this class. Please do not come to class if you are feeling sick, and it is always advised to wear a mask if you are comfortable doing so.

Class cancellation policy:  Please note: All Class cancellations are charged a $15 processing fee in addition to the following policy: Class cancellations 7 days or less prior to first day of class will receive no refund. 8-13 days before beginning of class, students will receive an 80% refund. 14 days or more before beginning of class: Full refund.
