This three day workshop is for students who have taken a weaving class before, know the basics of weaving, or have experience using a floor loom.

Students will build on their weaving skills by learning more advanced Rio Grande weaving techniques, creating their own designs while working with traditional patterns and color combinations.

In this workshop students will learn how to combine and arrange traditional motifs such as stripes, squares, slow/fast slants, Vallero and other design elements into more complex and visually balanced woven pieces.

Each student will design and complete an advanced placemat or table runner while improving their weaving skills and confidence.
